Susan  is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with children, adolescents and adults since 1990.  She has been trained in a variety of modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trauma resolution techniques, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, and Somatic Experiencing.  Susan has also trained in various complementary healing practices and typically weaves together wholistic practices and traditional psychotherapy techniques in her work with individuals.

Susan believes in the inherent health of each individual and focuses on building strengths and resources to provide the best care possible.  Her warmth, authenticity and sense of humor help create a warm and caring environment in which her clients can grow and heal from life’s many challenges.

With an extensive history in counseling and working with people, Colleen believes in sharing the full expanse of her knowledge and methods with her clients in an effort to provide them with the tools to help themselves.

Colleen has more than 15 years experience in human services and mental health.

Colleen regularly creates and delivers presentations to various groups of health-care professionals on effective treatment, ethics, addictions, and EMDR.

Matt Banner, MA, LPC is an adolescent, family, and adult psychotherapist providing individual, family, and group services in Louisville. Matt has been working with adolescents and families for over 15 years, and specializes in working with adolescents with significant mixed mental health and behavior challenges utilizing treatment strategies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Matt's treatment philosophy as a client-centered Existential psychotherapist views individuals and families as capable of maintaining their own mental and emotional health, that healing and the process of therapy occur in the here and now, and that the role of psychotherapy is to unfold that inner skill and give it strength to be self-sustaining.
